Live, not screenshots
Your iPhone streams to the Mac at up to 60 fps, decoded by the Mac's own media engine. You watch every step the agent takes
60fpsCotrieve puts your iPhone on your Mac, live. Claude Code, Codex and any MCP agent can see the screen, tap, swipe and type, on your own phone
Real runs on an iPhone 17 Pro, recorded by Cotrieve and sped up. The narration is the assistant's own
What it does
A live picture of your phone, and everything an agent needs to act on it. Built on the same pipeline as Xcode's Device Hub
Your iPhone streams to the Mac at up to 60 fps, decoded by the Mac's own media engine. You watch every step the agent takes
60fpsTaps, long presses, swipes, drags, typing in any language, Home and the App Switcher. iOS sees them as a real finger
An agent's screenshot takes about a tenth of a second. It reads the screen, finds the button and taps it
0.09sSave your passcode in the Mac's Keychain and the agent can wake and unlock the phone itself, only if you allow it
Ask for something in the window beside the phone. Claude does it while you watch, and you take over with a touch
Menus, shortcuts, a menu bar item and a proper Settings window. Close the window and your agents keep their phone
Why not iPhone Mirroring?
You could point Codex at the iPhone Mirroring window. Here's what changes with Cotrieve
| What matters | iPhone Mirroring, driven by computer use | Cotrieve |
|---|---|---|
| Reliable | The agent clicks pixels in a mirrored window, and the connection pauses when it sits idle | Taps, swipes and typing go straight to the phone through Xcode's own device pipeline. The agent reads the screen in a tenth of a second |
| You can watch it | The phone stays locked and only says it's in use. Pick it up and mirroring stops | Watch every step live on your iPhone and on your Mac, and take over with a touch |
| Unlocks by itself | It can't unlock your iPhone | Wakes and unlocks your iPhone from the lock screen, if you allow it |
What people say
Connect your agent
Cotrieve adds itself to Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, each with its own key. Anything else that speaks MCP gets an address and a key to paste
Set up in minutes
With Xcode 27 on your Mac, turn on Developer Mode and pair the iPhone once: a cable, or Pair Nearby Device over the same Wi-Fi
With an email link, Google or Apple, no password. Your phone appears in the window, live; setup checks each step and says what is missing
One click in Settings › Agents. Then ask it to do something on your phone
What people ask
Your agent works in your own apps, signed in as you, on your own phone
Yours alone
No cloud phone, no rented device, no relay. The picture and every tap stay between your Mac and your iPhone
Saving it is your choice and it never leaves the Mac. You decide whether agents may unlock: always, ask each time, or never
Agents stop at the payment sheet. Face ID and passwords are yours to give
FAQ
A Mac with Apple silicon on macOS 26.6 or later, with Xcode 27 installed, and an iPhone on iOS 27 or later with Developer Mode on, paired to that Mac (a cable once, or Pair Nearby Device over Wi-Fi). Any Apple ID. The iPhone and the Mac on the same Wi-Fi, or a cable. Tested on iPhone 17 Pro. Still on macOS 26? You don't need macOS 27: Software Update also offers macOS 26.7.1, which is enough. After any macOS update, open Xcode once so it can finish setting up
Claude Code, Codex and Cursor connect in one click. Any client that speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP works with the address and key from Settings › Agents
No. Cotrieve runs on your Mac. An agent sees a screenshot when it asks for one, like anything else you show its model
It stops at the payment sheet. Confirming a payment, with Face ID or a password, is always yours
Yes. Each one is the recording Cotrieve made of an iPhone 17 Pro while its assistant did the task, sped up. The narration is the assistant's own words from that run
Cotrieve is free for 7 days. Then $8.99 a month, $59.99 a year, or $149.99 once for Lifetime. See pricing
